Pit Bull Terrier Dog for adoption in Dover, Tennessee - THORN

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking

THORN's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.

THORN's Story...
THORN is a very sweet, submissive boy who LOVES to run and play. He is a higher energy dog, and would do well in an active lifestyle. He gets along well with other dogs due to his submissive manner. He's met my cats - and although curious at first - just ignored them after that. Thorn is fully vetted, up to date on all his vaccines, as well as his heartworm / flea-tick preventative. He was extremely emaciated when he arrived with us, and has some food issues right now as a result of starving. These are slowly being worked out of his system as he realizes that food is there for him every day. If you'd like to meet Thorn, you can see him at Pet Smart Adoption events on Sundays from 11-4, or you can contact Lisa at lisasagley@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

THORN, a Dover Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Dover, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Dover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dover paves the way for another one to be saved.
