OZZIE's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

OZZIE's Story...
Ozzie is an extremely sweet Australian Shepherd Mix. He was a little timid at first, but has come out of his shell quite nicely. He is very playful, and still puppylike in his antics. He plays well with other dogs, and enjoys herding them around the yard. Ozzie will play fetch with you, until he gets bored with it and moves on to other games. He is pretty energetic, and will do best in a home where he has a 'job' to do - whether fetching for you, or tending to your children. Ozzie is neutered, up to date on all of his vaccines, and current on his heart worm & flea/tick preventative. If interested, please contact Lisa Sagley @ If you'd like to meet this sweet boy, you can visit us during our adoption events at Pet Smart on Wilma Rudolph, Sunday from 11-4! See you there!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OZZIE, a Dover Australian Shepherd/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Rottweiler for sale in Dover, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Dover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Rottweiler breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dover paves the way for another one to be saved.
