Misa's Story...

Misa is a 10-year old black and white cow-cat who is always looking for a lap!  She would love nothing better than to show you how to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon - a little stretching near a sunny window, a little cat-napping on your lap, and a bit of brushing would make this girl's day.  Misa is an easy-going girl who would love to be your best friend so please come meet her at Seattle Humane.  Completing families is what we do.

As with all of our cats, Misa has been spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and behavior tested.  She will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and a collar with an identification tag.  PLUS, most cat adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion - a great way to start off on the right paw!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misa, a Bellevue Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
