Toby is a 3-year-old Chinese Crested who came into rescue with his best buddy, Moby. This regal, exotic-looking boy is a major cuddle bug who just wants to be scratched and snuggle under the blankies!!! Enjoying human companionship is one of the main characteristics of his breed. He is smart and loves to go on walks and play at the dog park. He is inseperable from his best friend Moby. He is potty trained but marks inside from time to time. The perfect home for Toby will be with someone with love, patience, and the ability to work with fearful dogs. He is nervous meeting strangers and will bark and hide, but with reassurance he lets most everyone pet him. He will do best in a home with no small children or large dogs, but can adapt if they are respectful of his space. All food must be stored in plastic containers and off of table tops as Toby can climb and open trash cans. He also must be kept under a close watch as he is very fast and can easily escape and run free. Although Chinese Cresteds can't be classified as Hypoallergenic, their shedding is very minimal so they would be great for someone with allergies. Because of his distinctive hairless body, research about care of his breed is advised.
Because of the bond between Moby and Toby, we would love to keep the pair together.
