Marie: 6 yr old black & rust female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 12 lb. Fully vetted.
"My story begins with a sad tale; you see I lived up until now in a puppy mill. Do you know what those awful places are? Let me tell you, I have lived my entire life in a wire cage, barely large enough for me to turn around in. I am the mother to the puppies you buy at pet stores. The puppies that were ripped away from me when they were too young. My feet had never touched grass, carpet, the floor and they are splayed from standing on wire. I know nothing about the world. I was utterly and totally neglected with little to no human contact. Despite all this, I still trust people and want to be loved! I am a little shy at first, but I love to be held and whispered to that you love me. I keep a clean crate and go to the bathroom outside like a good girl, but please don't be upset with me if I have an accident. My entire life I was forced to go to the bathroom where I slept, stayed and ate. It was so humiliating. My foster mom says I am a total love bug, with lots of love to give! I would fit into any home, if they are willing to give me time to blossom and love. I get along well with dogs, cats, kids and strangers. Can I come over to your house to be held and have you whisper you love me in my ears?
