Amaya's Story...
Everyone meet Amaya. She is 2 to 3 years old and 12 lbs. She is absolutely the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She gets alog well with everyone and is just happy to be out of the shelter. She is gorgeous and has a beautiful shiny coat. She looks like a frenchie chi mix in the face but has a long body so not sure. Anaya really is quite the catch especially if you are looking for a perfect family dog. She is so friendly and has the best disposition.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amaya, a San Antonio Border Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Border Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Border Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
