My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke, Duchess and Sassy were rescued from a breeder by another shelter and then brought to Friendship in the hopes of finding new homes. They are sweet but timid dogs that may have never been in a traditional home. They are not nippy. Duchess is a one year old purebred Miniature Long Haired Dachshund. All will need lots of patience, training and love. They are finally experiencing attention and human contact at Friendship and are realizing life could be much better. Once in a loving home they will thrive. It's probably best if children in the family are a little older because of the timidness of the dogs.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
