Hi my name is Tawny. I'm approximately 1-1/2 year old Bull Terrier mix. I was rescued by Toledo's Pet Bull Project and I've currently been with my foster family for 1 year. Even though I haven’t been around kids under the age of 7, I love kids; I've lived with other dogs - big and small. I also lived with an old cat who I wanted to play with, but quickly learned she didn't want to play with me. I am potty trained, and crate trained. I know many commands and I love attention. I have a lot of energy, but I also like to just chill under a blanket. I need a high fence or privacy fence as I do know how to climb over a chain link fence. I know my foster mom loves me so much that she would like me to find my furever family who would keep contact and post pics of my progress. Could you be my new furever family? If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting Tawny, please complete an application at www.toledospetbullproject.com/adoption-info/

Our Adoption Process...

All of our dogs are in foster homes so once you decide on which dog you would like to meet and/or adopt, complete and submit an adoption application, which can be found at www.toledospetbullproject.com/adoption-info/ (please copy and paste into your browser).

The application will be reviewed; if the applicant meets our adoption criteria, the application will be passed on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog. A home visit is required for all of our adoptions. If you are out of our area, we will make arrangements with a rescue group in your area.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
$200 for dog/puppies under 1 year
$125 for dogs over 1 year
$75 for senior dogs (depends on breed)
For Puppies 4 months old and younger: Adopter agrees to pay a $50 training retainer in addition to the adoption fee. The $50 training retainer will be refunded to adopter after completing a dog training class and showing proof of certificate
