My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a 3 1/2 year old mini Australian Shepherd. I have had her since she was about 12 weeks old, She has lived with our 11 yr. old cat and 8 yr.old dog since she was a puppy, but recently has been aggressive toward our older dog, however, has never shown any aggression towards our 11 year old cat. Rosie and our cat have times where they will sleep together or our cat will groom Rosie, she never has had a problem with it.

Rosie is a very loyal dog, especially to me. She is a great family dog, loves to run (a lot) and be by people. She is housebroken and kennel trained (this is where she is when we are out of the house and when she sleeps at night).

When she was about 6 + months old she went through a level 1 dog training class and graduated at the top of her class. She is very smart, knows how to sit, lay down, stay, roll over. She is content with having a bone to chew on and laying near her people.

For exercise I take her on walks and go to the dog park. Rosie is fine at the dog park as long as she is away from a group of dogs, she likes to be on her own, she is shy towards other dogs, but doesn't seek out to attack dogs. She will always make sure you are in sight, she will run off, but not too far and will always look to make sure you are still there.

She is shy around other people as well, but if they around for a length of time, then she will come around, but again, doesn't show aggression.

She would be a great dog for someone who doesn't have any other dogs and has time to spend with her outside to exercise, walk, etc.
