Leah's Story...
Hi everyone my name is Leah (9 months) and I had to leave my new family because the little boy was allergic to me. Everyone has been very nice to me but I really miss being in a home. I am about 9 months old and beautiful grey tabby and white girl, and I am good with children and other dogs. Maybe you could find it in your heart to rescue me and take me back to the couch I belong on. I am dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and house trained. Please don’t pass me by, call the adoption line at 705-458-9038 and or drop by Pet Valu Alliston to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leah, a Everett Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Everett, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Everett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Everett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Everett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Everett paves the way for another one to be saved.
