Harvest is a sweet, affectionate 2 year old pocket pittie weighing only 40lbs. When her foster parents come home she insists on giving them kisses for 10 minutes straight. At first Harvest does not seem very playful with the other dogs, she doesn't mind sharing her space with them and eventually does love the playtime. She is very peaceful living with her canine foster brothers (4), but is not particularly fond of cats. She loves to snuggle on the couch and is always up for a jog or walk. She is crate trained and will go in her crate to unwind or with her favorite chew toy.  Her favorite game is fetch and she will drop her ball right at your feet waiting for you to throw it. She is well trained; she knows her basic commands and will sit by the door when she has to go out. Harvest is an all around great dog and will make her forever family very happy!

About Spotty Dog Rescue, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

FOSTER-BASED

All of our dogs are housed in loving foster homes until their forever family finds them.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide safe harbor, medical care and love for adoptable dogs that have been abused, abandoned and neglected until they are placed into loving, responsible permanent homes; to decrease the need for senseless destroying of dogs by educating the public about the benefits of spaying & neutering; to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness; to promote respect for life, responsible pet ownership and to encourage the higher ideals of compassion towards animals and people through education and example.

OUR COMMITMENT

Prior to adoption, each dog is spayed or neutered, receives a comprehensive veterinary examination and appropriate tests and inoculations. We conduct a thorough screening of all potential adopters to ensure the best possible match between healthy dogs and adoptive homes. We make a lifetime commitment to all of our rescued dogs. Our mission does not end with adoption. We follow up with advice, support and appropriate resources to assure a successful integration of each dog into his or her new home.
