All ARM animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption, updated on required vaccinations, dewormed (as needed) and tested for heartworm disease in dogs and feline leukemia in cats. Adoption fee and application required for adoption.

Faith is house broken, micro chipped, up to date on all shots, spayed, and does well once she meets other dogs.  She is house broken, and loves riding in the car, being with her person, and just wants rubs and someone she can bond to. She is great with people big and small.

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Rescue Movement (ARM) was established in 1993 by Jeanne Dixon. We are a non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer organization in the Jacksonville and Northeast Florida area.

ARM rescues abused, injured, unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats from local shelters and streets. For these animals, being rescued is the difference between life and death, as most of these loving pets would otherwise face certain death due to pet overpopulation and overcrowding in our local shelters. We rescue mixed breed as well as purebred animals. Once rescued, ARM provides food, proper medical care, spay/neuter and all necessary vaccinations.

Our Adoption Process...

ARM is a non-profit, tax deductible organization, relying on donations and adoption fees to help cover the costs of rescuing these animals. Adoption fees are as follows:

Canines $85-$250
Felines $65-$100
The adoption fee includes:

Sterilization of pet

Current vaccinations


Heartworm test/treatment (canines over 6 months)

Feline leukemia test (felines)
