Mitzy was abandoned by her family when they moved; they dumped her in an alley and drove the moving truck away. For a few weeks, Mitzy was on the street, constantly being chased and beaten up by larger cats. She was scared and starving when she walked up to her foster mom. Mitzy was exhausted and allowed her foster mom to pick her up and feed her by hand. Mitzy loves being with her foster mom, cuddling at night and giving kisses and head buts; a nice and quiet house makes her happy. Mitzy will chase string and play, but is more likely to curl up in a ball and sleep. Mitzy is very vocal, she likes to talk when she’s happy to see you and will make the most adorable chirping sounds when she’s looking forward to breakfast. She currently lives with two other cats and a dog; although all are friendly, Mitzy is scared of them and does not want to be around them at all. She needs to be the only animal in the house.
[Mitzy is 1 year old and about 6.5 lbs.]
