Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Karma is a very sweet, but timid redtick girl who was found wandering emaciated in the parking lot of a rural Virginia animal shelter one Monday morning. She needs a loving, patient owner - someone who understands that all rescue dogs are not perfect, and who wants to help a special dog in need. Karma has been in foster care for a few months, has gained weight and is gaining confidence. She's affectionate with those she trusts and knows and she'll come and curl up with her foster Mom on the sofa. Karma is not comfortable around strangers - she's not aggressive at all - she'll just retreat to her 'safe' area. Some obedience work to help her gain confidence, and another dog to show her the way would also be helpful.
Karma is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 40 lbs. Karma has an old injury or congenital defect with her right front 'wrist' area. She gets around fine and puts weight on it. Karma is in Massachusetts and is available for visits.
