Ginger's Story...
Pretty Ginger is a 5 year old short-haired buff tabby ready for a new family to come and adopt her! She was originally trapped as a stray, and had her ear docked when she was spayed. She was too sweet to put back outside, so she was staying with a foster family until she was ready to go up for adoption. She is adjusting to her new surroundings nicely, but may need a little extra TLC and more time to adapt to her new home. She doesn't mind kids and is fantastic with other cats; she actually has a feline best friend that she came in with that she is regularly seen cuddling up with and grooming. She has a lovely purr- and dances around the cat tree or your legs when she is comfortable with you and wants some attention. Ginger would be okay being an inside outside cat- and even though she has lived most of her life outside, she has quickly grown accustomed to the indoor life. Ginger is litter box trained, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and microchipped. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center. We are open daily from 12-6pm.
2-4-1 adoption fee if you choose to adopt Ginger and Felix together- but can be adopted separately too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Benbrook Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
