Riggs's Story...
Hi, my name is Riggs. I am an 11 week old lab mix . (My mom was a 45# lab mix). I love very people ! Big people, little people, it doesn't matter ! And I love other dogs. Right now I have foster brothers ands sisters that are big and little abs in between and I get along with them all! I am kennel trained. I am puppy pad trained, but am smart so when I am old enough I think I'll learn how to potty outside pretty quickly. I am UTD on shots and will be available for adoption as soon as I am neutered! They tell me that I will probably be a medium size dog when I'm all grown up!

Riggs' Adoption Donation is $300 and includes spay/neuter, deworming, Avid microchip, and UTD vaccinations. Riggs is being fostered in ST LOUIS, MISSOURI but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $125. Transportation to the Chicago area available on a limited basis for $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riggs, a waterbury Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in waterbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
