Malibu's Story...
Malibu is a 5 year old declawed girl who is so pretty and working on losing some unwanted pounds. Malibu spent 6 months in a shelter being very stressed before coming to Angel of Hope. She really does not like other cats around her and was forced to spend her life in a cage around other cats. She not only came across as crabby all the time, she gained unwanted weight. Angel of Hope found a foster home where she did not have to be around other cats and is working on getting her used to living in a home again. Malibu needs a patient, quiet home to call her own. She is a wonderful and loving cat who knows what she likes.

If you are interested in adopting this animal, please go to to our website at http://www.aohrescue.org and complete an adoption application.

Angel of Hope Animal Rescue also has other cats and kittens available at Petco Fridley, Petsmart Coon Rapids, Petsmart Maple Grove, Petsmart Monticello, Chuck & Don's Coon Rapids and Chuck & Don's Elk River.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malibu, a Anoka Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Anoka, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Anoka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anoka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anoka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anoka paves the way for another one to be saved.
