found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.
Brownie is a chunky chocolate & tan Dachshund dude with the typical comical mannerisms & determined personality of the breed. He loves to sniff & investigate what's going on in the world and firmly believes that minding everyone else's business is in the Dachshund Bill Of Rights!
He is crate trained and happy to hang out with a couple of chews and toys when his people go out but like many Dachshunds Brownie's potty manners are currently a little hit & miss. If the weather is nice he loves to go outside, either in a secure fenced yard or on a leash. If it is raining however, not so much! More than almost anything else Brownie loves food so he is making progress on his house training with lots of treats as motivation.
Brownie is quite the ladies man & once settled in his new home he will quickly become a very loyal companion. True to his breed, Brownie is an entertaining & opinionated little dog. He likes things his way so probably wouldn't do well in a home with smaller children. He enjoys the teenagers in his foster home though as they are free with praise, laughter & treats!
If you have space in your heart & home for a cavalier, comical little Weenie dog come & meet Brownie!
Brownie was born February 2010.

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
