Shania came in to us from a lady that fond her and her 2 older kittens which were brothers and have already been adopted. She has had all her shots, been spayed, feline leukemia tested and is negative. Also been microchipped. Her adoption fee is $35 which covers all the above listed alterations and tests.

She is friendly and loves attention since her sons are gone and she is sort of lost without them.

Fur a Good Paws is a donation-based 501(c)(3) non-profit in Clay County, Illinois.

As a small group of local citizens, we.....

Our Adoption Process...

Potential adopters can fill out a two-page adoption application form available on our website www.furagoodpaws.org

All our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for heartworm/feline leukemia, and vaccinated for rabies/canine distemper/feline distemper before adoption.

If a pet is too young of age to be spayed/neutered at the time of adoption, the pet adopter must sign an agreement that they will spay/neuter the pet and microchip it by age six months.

Adoption fees are:
$75 and upwards for dogs
$35 and upwards for cats/kittens.
