Shay's Story...
Shay is a beautiful purebred German Shepherd girl. She is not very happy about being a shelter dog and is protective in her run. Once you open the gate and invite her to go for a walk she is all sugar and sweet. What a wonderful shepherd. She is quite feminine in build and just gorgeous. She knows sit and paw and appears house trained. She keeps a very tidy run. Our $75 adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip, HWT, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, Strongid deworming, and 2015 Clermont County License. Our hours of operation are Mon/Tues 11:30-4, Wed 11:30-6, Thurs CLOSED, Fri 11:30-6, Sat 10-5, Sun 12-5. Call the shelter at 732-8854 for more details. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shay, a Batavia German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Batavia, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Batavia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Batavia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Batavia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Batavia paves the way for another one to be saved.
