Willow's Story...
Willow is a very social cat with people who is masterful at unlatching her kennel door at the shelter. She would make an excellent addition to a home, provided NO dogs. She definitely has a negative opinion of socializing with canines! She is hoping you will open up your heart and home to her. $25 adoption fee (for both cats and kittens) includes spay/neuter, microchip, FeLV Test, RCP and Strongid deworming. Our hours of operation are: Mon/Tues 11:30-4p, Wed 11:30-6, Thurs CLOSED, Fri 11:30-6, Sat 10-5, Sun 12-5. Call the shelter at 732-8854 for more details. Support our shelter and save a life by adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Batavia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Batavia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Batavia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Batavia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Batavia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Batavia paves the way for another one to be saved.
