Bruno's Story...
Bruno is a brilliant red brindle Am Staff/Am Bulldog mix, about a year of age, who is very enthusiastic about life and very social. He is super smart, super attentive and SUPER handsome! We prefer an experienced big dog person with an active life who will give him the exercise and training he looks for. He is one of those dogs who commands a 'wow, what a gorgeous dog' comment from just about everyone who sees him. He has a high prey drive and is not suitable for a home with small pets. He is selective about other dogs. Our $75 adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip, HWT, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, Strongid deworming, and 2015 Clermont County License. Our hours of operation are Mon/Tues 11:30-4, Wed 11:30-6, Thurs CLOSED, Fri 11:30-6, Sat 10-5, Sun 12-5. Call the shelter at 732-8854 for more details. Support our shelter and save a life by adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruno, a Batavia American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog for sale in Batavia, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Batavia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Batavia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Batavia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Batavia paves the way for another one to be saved.
