I'm, Tobias and I was abandoned with my friend Bella. Our "family" just set us out one day and left us, they never came back. Luckily we were rescued, Bella said by Jedi's. I don't really know what that is but Bella says they are the good people. They must be, they took us and got us vaccinated, so we could stay healthy and then welcomed us into their home, where we are safe until we find new families...they even let me have my very own spot on the couch...these Jedi people are very wise...they know cats rule. So now that I'm adjusted and know what real home life is like, I am ready to try out my couch snoozing skills with my new furever family. If you'd like to adopt me alone or even adopt me with Bella, she's a pretty cool friend. You don't have to be a Jedi to take me home, just one of the good people. All you have to do is apply online at or email us at and we will send you one.

My adoption fee is $75.00 and I will be neutered before my adoption.

About Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE)

About Our Rescue Group...

Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE) is an organization that is dedicated to saving animals in rural areas, mainly in 'pounds' and shelters, both high-kill and no-kill. There tends to be a higher overpopulation rate in rural areas due to lack of animal ordinances and alteration to prevent unwanted litters. Many animals are 'dumped' on country roads left to parish or end up at the local pound or animal shelter if they have an empty kennel. Many of these animals have a limited number of days before they are euthanized. In addition to placing animals in foster and adoptive homes, networking with rescues to assist in placement and adoption of animals, RARE also performs fundraisers for spay/neuters and other vetting to prevent further overpopulation and promote quality of life for the animals we save.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees cover all vetting for the animals in our care, including vaccinations, Heart-worm test, Heart-worm treatment if needed, Feline Leukemia test, spay/neuter and may vary, depending on species.

Fosters and Adopters will be required to complete an application with personal and Veterinary references. A home visit is also required.
RESCUES, please contact us regarding pull information or pull fee, if any, depending on vetting already provided by RARE.
