Fenway's Story...
Hello Everyone, I'm Fenway and here is the rest of the story....the rest of the story that my friend Rex began to tell. I am the other family dog who was left behind with Rex when our family fell upon hard times and had to move far, far away. Our family did not want to leave us but they felt they had no choice because they did not know what the future held for them and their children. There was actually me, Rex, 2 cats and our little Ginnie Pig friend. The cats have made it to a safe haven; however, you might be hearing from our little Ginnie pig friend soon.

Our family was a good family and they loved us so. Our dad lost his job in the oil and gas business and then lost his home. He was in desperate need and desperately trying to find a safe place for his family and children. He was also trying to find a good home for us but had no luck. He did not want to simply abandon us so he called Ahimsa Rescue for help so here we are. I remember the last time I saw dad when he left us at Ahimsa Rescue. He came back inside to see us one last time to say good bye to us. He was so sad. He said that he had never had to leave his dogs behind before. He said he was too big to cry but I could tell that he was crying. Rex and I were sad too, and we called for dad but he never turned back again. That was the last time I saw my dad. That was a sad day but things are better for us now!

Ahimsa is a very nice place. There people at Ahimsa are really nice and take very good care of us but we need a new forever home, and there are other pets who need our beds at the rescue.

If you would like to adopt me please go to Ahimsa's website at www.ahimsarescuefoundation.org and fill out my adoption application form. I'll be waiting and singing the blues until then. Oh...did I mention that I have a beautiful singing voice! Love, Fenway

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fenway, a Muldrow Bluetick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Muldrow, or seeking a Bluetick Coonhound dog from a breeder in Muldrow.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muldrow already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muldrow breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muldrow paves the way for another one to be saved.
