My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tibbits is approx 4.5 yrs old and 11 lbs. He looks like a maltese mix. He was treated for heartworm, and also had cataract surgery on one eye.. He is such a much happier dog now and even though he has limited vision and a cataract still in the one eye, the other one is clear and he can see again. This is from Tibbits and his foster mom:
Hello there!
My name is Tibbits and I’m seeking my forever home. I’m potty trained and always finish my meals!
I enjoy long walks on the beach, or anywhere outside really, and sleeping nestled under my foster human’s arm or planted firmly in a warm lap. I greatly enjoy burrowing under the blankets.
I enjoy playing with any toy that has a squeaker and will carry my stuffed baby for hours. In the event you do not engage with my stuffed baby antics, I will climb on your lap, roll on back, and swat at you with my adorable skinny chicken feet until belly rubs have been initiated.
As a terrier, I sometimes find other dogs need a firm talking to. By this I mean I enjoy sprinting to the window and telling those who cross my domain what for. My foster mom is working hard with me on leash as I haven’t figured out how to not pull when I see a canine friend enjoying a walk of their own.
My two current best friends are the cats that live next door. I can be very unsure, sometimes even scared, of strangers and don’t know what to do aside from bark at them. Foster mom is working with me, but I may be best suited for a smaller family unit. I’m a sweet little boy with an unknown past. I need love, attention and most of all patience from my new forever family. Once I trust you, I’ll be the loving, loyal companion you’ve dreamed of.
Love,
Tibbits!
