Weymouth's Story...
This little girl is just the cutest dog. She was listed as a cairn terrier but looks more like a brussels griffon mix. She is approx 1 year old and 13 lbs...She is just precious, very sweet, gets along with everyone. She does have a grade 2/4 luxating patella but no surgery is required and vet records are availalbe. She loves people and wants to be your best friend, she seems to be pretty well leash and house trained.

The total adoption cost of $475 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Weymouth, a Allentown Brussels Griffon/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brussels Griffon/Cairn Terrier for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Brussels Griffon/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brussels Griffon/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Brussels Griffon/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
