Lemmy's Story...
Lemmy is an independent 9 week old American bulldog mix puppy who is already 20 pounds and still growing! This funny boy is great with dogs, and knows sit, up, and no.

Lemmy has been with his foster family since he was 3 weeks old. Check out his photo and video gallery!

He is crate trained and working on housetraining. He is neutered and up-to-date on shots.

**Please note that we only adopt within Columbus/Central Ohio due to our home visit requirement. The first step to begin the adoption process is to complete an adoption application at www.petpromise.org/adoption-application. Because all of our dogs are in foster homes an adoption application must be sumitted and approved before a meet and greet is arranged. All dog are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested (if old enough) and are on flea/heartworm prevention**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lemmy, a Columbus American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Columbus, or seeking a American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
