Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Randolf is Looking to be King of the CASTLE!
Meet Randolf (Randy), a handsome 3-5 year old, tri-colored, boy Beagle who has recently finished his heartworm treatment (yea) and is now ready to go to the next step of his new life, a forever family!
Randolf is a very sweet boy, loves to snuggle and sit close. He also likes being his human's shadow. Randy gets along great with other dogs and with cats. He is housetrained and crate trained. Randy is on the quiet side, is very good about telling me when he needs to go outside and only stays out long enough to do his duty, then comes right back in. He's very friendly and happy boy.
Randy's forever home wishes include:
A single, couple or empty nesters who can include him in their family life. No small children please; older children would be fine.
Another dog for companion, however he really wants his humans to himself
A fence or not, walking would be good for him
A crate or penned off room
Randy just wants to be king of his throne. After taking him on a couple home visits, I really feel like a home where he's the only dog, and if possible, not left all day. He does ok, but he really is a dog that needs to be included in the family.
If you'd like to meet Randolf, he will be attending the PetSmart Adoption Event in Rockford, IL on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from noon to 3 p.m. Or if you can't make it to the adoption event, contact your adoption counselor who will get in touch with the foster family to see if other meet and greet arrangements can be made.
