Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Shadrack! He and another beagle were surrendered to a shelter because the family had too many animals. Both were heartworm positive. Both were treated, the other beagle has been adopted, and now it’s Shadrack’s turn.
He is an older gentleman with few requirements. They are:
Food, of course. He wants two squares a day. Meals do not take much time.
Walks. He loves to walk and is excellent on a leash. This takes a little more time.
Laps. When he’s not busy with meals or walks, he wants to sit on your lap. This takes up all the rest of the time. So, his day is covered!
Due to a confrontation he had with our television, we don’t believe he’s ever lived in a house. He wasn’t housetrained when he got here, but took to the doggy door like a pro, and does well with his housetraining if kept on a regular schedule. He gets along with all the dogs in his foster home, and every person who has a lap is his friend. If you sit down, you’re fair game!
Please ask for Shadrack; he’d love to be your new best friend!
