Koda's Story...
These pups were found in the woods in Georgia. The mom that raised these puppies thus far kept all 9 puppies alive in the woods until Animal Control found them all. The mom is a yellow lab. Currently, these pups are 8 1/2 weeks old and are still nursing. After seeing the puppies, we think one or two could be St. Bernard mixes, and the others are either labs or Australian Shepherds. Whatever they are, they are darn cute!! Come and meet these adorable babies before they are all adopted! we have 3 left!! Visit our website at www.MuttsMatterRescue.com for more details or to fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Koda, a Rockville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
