Faith's Story...
My name is Faith and I am a 5 year old, purebred Pug!! I came to MMR when my Mom became too sick to care for me. I have a beautiful thick apricot coat, and my rescue vet told me I had a thick waistline to go with it!!! So, my foster family will be helping me to shed the pounds, and get in top notch pug shape. I was allowed to have babies in my past life, but MMR is going to fix it so I don't ever have to do that again, and then I will be ready for my forever home. I need a family who will teach me to play with toys and will continue to help me loose weight. I was NEVER mistreated, but I need a little extra love...as most pugs do.....I adore children, but I sometimes get pushy around other dogs. I would love a canine compaion, but they need to be a little on the laid back side of life. I am also housebroken to a schedule, so as soon as I learn a new routine, I am golden. I just can't wait to start my new life, and will make someone the best pug they could ever wish for.....good looks, charm and smarts...what else could you ask for. Hurry!! Fill out an application for Faith, because they tell me I won't be hanging around too long!! My adoption fee is $250 Go to muttsmatterrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faith, a Rockville Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
