Chuck's Story...
My name is Chuck. Aren't I GORGEOUS?? I am a pure breed Siberian Husky. I am 2 1/2 years old, weigh about 50lbs, and love to run. My owners had to give me up because they didn't have the time to give me the exercise I really need. I need a home that understands I am a very active dog. I don't want to be chained up in a yard all day. That's no life at all :-( I am still a young dog and am looking for my forever home and a place I can live out my life. I need to be in a home with adults only (teens are okay) and experienced husky owners. I will also need training with some of my socialization skills and manners. Because I was left outside for a lot of my life, I am still learning how to behave; But I am very eager to learn too. I will make a great obedience dog I am told from the MMR trainer. I deserve a home that will bring me inside and not keep me chained up. I hope that home is out there and finds me soon. My adoption fee is $250 go to http://www.muttsmatterrescue.com/ to apply for me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chuck, a Rockville Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
