Zoey's Story...
Hi-My name is Zoey. My story is a long and sad one until now. I was confiscated from a puppymill raid, and I lived the first few years of my life in a cage where I was breed over and over for profit. Thankfully, rescue came to my aid and has gotten me almost completely back to health. When I first came into rescue, I was covered in mange, flees, and even had maggots in my ears. I was underweight and in awful shape. Now my skin is almost cleared up, and I am recovered for the most part. My foster family has taken wonderful care of me, and I have gotten so much love. I am thought to be between 5-6 years old. I I love people and other dogs. I am happy to be a couch potatoe. I'm not super active. My favorite activities are getting baths, snuggling, and sleeping. The first half of my life has been so hard. I'm looking for someone to let me live out my life in peace. It will take a special family that knows my breed. Visit www.muttsmatterrescue.com to apply for me My adoption fee is $350

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Rockville English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Rockville, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
