Max's Story...

Hi-My name is Max. I am an adorable 4 year old pure breed cocker. My owners had to surrender me to MMR due to family issues. My prior owners did spend a lot of time and money on me and did love me though... I have obedience training, and am great with other dogs. I love kids and am super handsome. My prior owners had entropian surgery on my eyes, and put a lot of money into making me the perfect dog. Now I just need to find the perfect home. My ideal home will be a fairly quiet environment without children under the age of 12. I do well with other confident dogs, but can also live in a single-dog home. My new caregivers should be reasonably dog-savvy and, above-all committed. My adoption fee is $300

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Rockville Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
