Merlin's Story...
Adorable Terrier pup

Fostered in Rockville, MD
November 20th
My name is Merlin. I am 20lbs, and 4 1/2 months. I was rescued out of a high kill shelter in SC. MMR saw me, and came to my aid and pulled me to safety.
I am still a puppy, so I am learning every day. I am great with other dogs, and would actually prefer a home with other playmates to help me with my confidence. I am some what shy in the beginning. But in time, and with TLC, I am coming around.

Wouldn't you love a cutie pie like this by your side to start the new year?
Merlin's adoption fee is $300, which covers the cost of his routine vetting and his neuter, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merlin, a Rockville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
