Prissy's Story...
This precious girl was rescued from a local animal control shelter by a good Samaritan who took her and her babies into foster. The babies all found their forever homes, but they were thinking about keeping Prissy. Unfortunately, we was intimidated by the big boy kitties and their household was a little too lively for her taste, so they reached out to us to help her find a loving quiet peaceful home where she can relax and be the princess she knows that she is. Prissy is what we affectionately call a "Mini Coon" or a pocket Maine Coon. She is a lovely, petite version of the breed. If you think your castle is in need of its very own princess, contact us at FLUFFinfo@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prissy, a Nashville Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
