Dorothy's Story...
WE LOVE DOROTHY!!!! As soon as we saw her in the shelter we knew she would be walking out with us. no doubt. zero. zip. nada! She is such a delightful little lady who we believe is around 10 years old and weighs around 14 lbs. We really have no idea what mix of dog she is...she's just cute and sweet! Dorothy is fabulous with other dogs, adores children,is great with cats, loves to take naps, is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, has seen a private vet for a full exam and bloodwork and she checks out A-OK! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dorothy, a Los Angeles Dachshund/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Corgi for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Dachshund/Corgi dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Corgi breeders who help with Dachshund/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
