CHLOE's Story...
Chloe is a happy 7 year old calico. She is sweet, sassy and soooo classy. Chloe is shy at first but once she gets to know you she will be your feline friend forever. Chloe has become friends with many of the volunteers and will hop into their lap all ready to play.

It would probably be best if Chloe were the only cat in the house. But she could also do well with one other cat. She should preferably go to a home without dogs.

Want to meet this special cat? Just send an email inquiry to - one of our friendly volunteers will respond. Or you can meet Chloe at one of our Saturday adoption events in the Piscataway PetCo from 11: a.m. to 4: p.m.

Chloe is spayed - negative for fiv/felv - up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHLOE, a Highland Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Highland Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Highland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Highland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Highland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Highland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
