Some of our cats & kittens are in rotation at Petsmart in Peru, IL (5243 IL-251, Peru, IL 61354). Come out and see them! We will have cats in the store's adoption center until Sunday, Dec. 18. In addition, there is an adoption event at the store this weekend, Dec. 12-13. Volunteers will be on hand to facilitate adoptions. This is the purr-fect opportunity to adopt a new family member for Christmas!
Mai Tai has a few strikes going against him, first of all he's a black kitty, the hardest to find homes for. And at 2 years old he's not the little kitten everyone is searching for. Finally, poor Mai Tai is TERRIFIED of strangers. We will not lie to you, Mai Tai will have a difficult time adjusting to a new home, so he needs a special kind of person to adopt him. He's very loving to his caregiver, and adores other cats, but strangers terrify him. He is a beautiful silky brown/black and he has a very endearing head tilt. If you have a big enough heart to give this guy a chance, he will make you happy you did. While visitors to your home will probably never see him, you will be his entire world - and honestly, that's a wonderful position to be in. Mai Tai is about 2 years old as of November 2015.
All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:
