Ling's Story...
Ling is a 7 year old Siamese cross beauty. She came to Friends very overweight but is playing and socializing and is losing some poundage--way to go though! Her eyes are super crossed and she has been an indoor cat all her life. She loves to be petted and brushed and we are told she does not scratch on the furniture from her previous owner. She tolerates other cats--doesn't fight, but doesn't seek their company either. A lovely mature cat who would do best in a home without small children.
There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much needed and much appreciated.
LING HAS BEEN WITH US FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW. DOESN'T ANYONE HAVE ROOM IN THEIR HOME AND HEARTS FOR AN OVERWEIGHT, SUPER QUIET, MOSTLY SWEET CAT?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ling, a Quincy Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Quincy, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Quincy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quincy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quincy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quincy paves the way for another one to be saved.
