Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Jake or as my Foster family calls me " Big Jake"!
I want my forever family to be well informed, so here are some highlights about me. I am 8 years old and described as a super- sized gentle giant weighing in at 107 pounds with about 10 to 15 more to go!
A super chill kinda guy, where my biggest priority is a short romp in the yard with an onset of nap time and oh yes " what's for dinner"!
I would make a great Netflix partner or bed partner as long as you can stand the occasional loud snore.
I love everyone I meet and get along great with kids and other dogs big or small. I love to sleep anywhere including a crate but I am totally trustworthy to be left out alone. As usual for us hounds a fenced in yard is a must and good latch on the gate. The nose is a curious one!
My one fault and don't we all! “thunderstorms, fireworks and loud noises! Would be great to know you have my back and will protect me from those encounters.
Jake’s adoption fee is $100 and an above ground fence is required. An application can be found at http://southcentralbloodhounds.org/available.html.
Jake is currently being fostered near Dallas, TX, but don’t let the location scare you away. We have an amazing transport network and can arrange to get him to you!
