Candy-Adopted!'s Story...
Candy is great with dogs, cats and kids. She is crate trained and housebroken. She loves to go for car rides and gives lots of kisses . She is about 10 months old. She does not chew anything in the house and she loves to chew on her favorite bone. She likes to play but will calm down and cuddle with you on the couch. She was found very thin having seizures. She is doing wonderfully now and has learned to be a playful pup. We are working on manners because when we got her she had none, and didn't even know the word sit. Birthday approx. 6/17/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Candy-Adopted!, a Detroit American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
