Meet Marco!
Marco is a real handsome little guy with the most beautiful soft & shiny auburn coat. He currently weighs 11 lbs., but could stand to gain a few more!
For being just 10 months old, Marco is learning unbelievably quickly what is acceptable and what is not. He has begun to sit at the front door when needing to use the outside to potty. When you toss a toy, he brings it back for you to toss again. He chews on a nylabone and nothing else, and comes running when called. What a good, smart little boy!!
Marco doesn't jump up on furniture; he is very happy to lay at your feet. But, if you invite him onto the sofa, it's an offer he won't refuse! He just loves to have his big ears and little paws stroked -- it actually makes him get all sleepy eyed.... so cute!
Marco sleeps through the night in a kennel. He would rather not be kenneled and once he is 100 percent housebroken, he will be a dog that requires no kenneling at all.
This handsome boy lives with one female and two male dogs ranging from 15-55lbs and will play with whomever is willing. He has yet to turn down a game of chase or a round of wrestling.
Marco enjoys going for walks and walks well on a leash. He is the perfect size for an apartment but, of course, would do well in any size home.
Marco is just a good little sweetie looking for a family of his own to love...could it be with your family?
Marco’s adoption fee is $300 and he is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
