Roxanne (Pom-cr)'s Story...
Hi there! My name is Roxanne. I'm a 6 month old Hound/Beagle mix. Recently, some very nice people saved me from a rural Tennessee shelter and are now trying to find me a "forever home." I never want to go back to a shelter. I'm very fun to play with and super friendly! I can't wait to find a family to play outside with and love, too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxanne (Pom-cr), a Harrisonburg Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
