Decka's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Decka's Story...
Decka was previously owned but her owner was unable to continue to care for her. She is a one and a half year old German Shepard Dog, Labrador mix. She is rambunctious and loves to play. She would do better in a home with older children as when she plays she could inadvertently be too much for a toddler. She is not good with other dogs but she has never lived with cats. Decka is quite talented, she knows how to sit, lie down, shake, high five and down. One of Decka's favorite things is to have her belly rubbed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Decka, a Somerset Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Somerset, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Somerset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerset paves the way for another one to be saved.
