My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable little guy is Sheldon, a Shar Pei mix that is a little over 2 years old and ready for a wonderful home of his own. Sheldon came to us in July 2015 when he was picked up as a stray with his friend Sunny, an Akita. We learned that the pair were picked up in several different towns in the past and their owner did not try too hard to keep them safe, nor did they want them back. It was all for the best though because the pair were better off looking for a new home where they would be loved and cared for. Sadly, a few months after they arrived, we discovered that Sunny had a brain tumor. She passed away a short time ago and though Sheldon was quite upset to lose his dear friend, he is putting on a brave face and hoping for a bright and happy future. Sheldon doesn't let much get him down and is always in good spirits. He is an absolute doll that simply adores people and wants nothing more than to be near you and for you to shower him with attention. Sheldon is a fun loving little guy that is always up for a walk, run, or game of fetch in our exercise yard. He is very well behaved and a perfect gentleman with treats, toys, and everything that he does. He gets along just fine with other dogs and loves people of all ages. Sheldon is sure to bring so much happiness and joy to your life if you welcome him into your heart and home. File#25156 7/21/15
