Decker's Story...
02-12-16 Decker and his 2 brothers are beautiful little Dobie mixes. They think dad was a lab. Decker is 7 weeks old, has had first vaccines, worming and bordatella.
These are tough little guys as they are parvo survivors. They are now healthy, happy pups and ready for loving homes. Parvo is a virus that pups can get. There are no lasting effects and they can never contract parvo again.
Our adoption fee for these pups is a little higher because of the vet expenses from the parvo.

Please go to our website and fill out an application
www.northmeckanimalrescue.org

Our adoption fee $250 includes spay/neuter, parvo/distemper series of shots, rabies if dog is old enough, bordatello, heartworm preventative while here, worming, and microchipping.

We appreciate your patience as our volunteer-only team reviews your application and updates our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Decker, a Charlotte Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
