Sweetie's Story...
Sweetie is a wee little pup born 12/12/15 from a mama who was found wandering the Corridor of Cruelty in Houston, Texas. Sweetie has been weaned from her mama and all she needs is to get her spay (to be done approx. 4/12/16) and she will be ready for adoption. Her adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, and current vaccines. Sweetie is a rolly-polly little girl like any other puppy and needs a little time and patience with training like all puppies do. Sweetie lives in Houston, Texas, but is available for transport to other cities via United PetSafe. Sweetie's adoption fee is $200 + $275 for airline transport = $475 total. **To adopt Sweetie, please submit an adoption application at www.corridorrescue.org under More Information. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweetie, a Portland American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
