Jack at Hazel Park's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with dogs.

Jack at Hazel Park's Story...
Jack was a fighting dog, probably used as a bait dog, that was found bloodied and abandoned with another dog. Jack's wounds have healed, but his emotional damage presents as aggressive behavior to other dogs. He was evaluated as adoptable, but has to be the only dog in the house. His special needs are that he has been through a lot of trauma and needs a family that can nurture him and give him a lot of love; and he will need owners that can commit to training to address aggression towards other dogs.

He is lovable with no other dogs around, but finds his own shadow a threat and is best suited for someone that can work with him to gain trust back and help him on his journey to a normal life that is filled with hugs, tummy rubs, and love.

He is still a pup, but has been through a lot in his young life, so it is time for a loving forever home, as long as it is a home with no dogs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack at Hazel Park, a Warren Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Warren, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
