Momma Lilly is waiting for you.
This sweet, gentle girl just finished with her litter of pups a few weeks ago and was excited to start life with a new family who was friends with her foster mom. Bu after she was spayed and ready to leave, they unexpectedly backed out, saying they were too busy with their other dog to take on another.
So now Lilly is left waiting here at the shelter, wondering what happened to her foster family and her family-to-be.
She deserves so much better.
Lilly is a 75 pound seven year old Shepherd/Husky/Lab mix. Her former owner found her as a stray and took her in while she was living with her parents. When she finally moved out years later, she left Lilly with her parents who were Labrador breeders. And sine sh had never been spayed, when she went into heat, one of their stud dogs found her, and Lilly was left without a home since hr pups would not be purebred.
Thankfully, at only three days old, LiIlly and her pups came to the shelter att New Lease on Life and were soon on the road once again into foster care where she spent two months raising her pups and being spoiled by her fosters.
Now Lilly is searching for a fantastic home of her own. She is already spayed, heartworm tested, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and micrchipped. She is also housebroken and crate trained.
Lilly's adoption fee has been reduced to $100 due to her age, but she still has lots of love to give!
